Today I’ve got some great news for German Detective Society Members. Knesebeck Verlag, my German publishers, really love the series – so much that they’ve decided to buy Mistletoe and Murder and Cream Buns and Crime! The deal was done by Thomas Schlueck Agency on behalf of my agents The Bent Agency (the world of book rights is fascinating and mysterious, and so much more complicated than I ever thought it was).
This means that the whole series (so far!) is going to be published in German – this is amazing news, and I couldn’t be happier. It’s all thanks to German fans who have made the first book such a success, and to brilliant Knesebeck Verlag.
To celebrate this, and the fact that the second book in the series, Teestunde mit Todesfall (Arsenic for Tea in English!), is now available to buy in Germany, I’m holding a giveaway!
Comment below by Monday 8th May, telling me why you’d like a copy, and I’ll choose three lucky winners. This competition is only open to readers in Germany (or another German-speaking country). Please don’t post your details publicly – wait until I contact you to let me know where you’d like the book sent.
Viel Glück!
