CrimeFest Awards – I’ve been shortlisted!

Great news, Detectives: CrimeFest, the international crime fiction convention, has added a new award to its 2017 list to acknowledge the amazing boom in children’s crime fiction.

The shortlist has just been announced, and not one but TWO Murder Most Unladylike Mysteries made it: Jolly Foul Play AND Mistletoe and Murder!

I’m really proud to be part of an awesome list of some brilliant children’s crime writers – and especially to be next to two of my Crime Club buddies, Katherine Woodfine and Harriet Whitehorn. If you don’t know what to read while you’re waiting for my next book, this list is a perfect guide. You can’t go wrong!

The award will be announced on May 21st, and I’ve got my fingers crossed – but I’m so proud to have been shortlisted. No matter who wins, this award is a wonderful acknowledgement of how exciting the genre is at the moment!
