World Book Day is on its way! If you’re thinking about dressing up as a character for my books, have a look at my post from last year about exactly what to do.

And if you’re hoping to be inspired to write your own story this year, World Book Day has you covered! They’ve teamed up with Authorfy to create masterclass videos from lots of your favourite authors. There’s Nadia Shireen, Lauren Child, Alex T. Smith, Malorie Blackman … and me!

Me and my author friends Kiran Millwood Hargrave and Abi Elphinstone worked together to film a video to share our writing tips and tricks. I really hope it gives you the ideas you need to begin your own book – I was definitely inspired by the things Abi and Kiran said!

You need to get your school to sign up to the Masterclass scheme (don’t worry, it’s free!) and you can do that at the WBD wesbite. The videos are live, so you can watch them at any time between now and World Book Day. World Book Day 2019 is all about sharing stories … so what story will you share with the world?
