Authors Assemble take on the Eggheads!

February 7, 2019

Eggheads thumb

Last year, my author friends Lisa Thompson, Maz Evans, Nick Ostler and Mark Huckerby and I all went to Glasgow to film an Eggheads episode for the BBC. Eggheads is a quiz show in the UK that pits lots of different teams against a group of super-smart people called the Eggheads. They’re very, very hard to beat, but it’s very fun to try.

And last night, our Eggheads episode finally aired on BBC2! We didn’t win, but I think we did really well with some very hard questions against some really brilliant quizzers. I’m so proud of my team, and it was great to just spend time with them during filming. Authors don’t get to see each other very often, so this felt really special.

If you live in the UK, you can catch up with our episode on iPlayer for the next month – I hope you enjoy it!

With Lisa, Maz, Nick, Mark and the Eggheads!
