Hi Detectives!

Next week is a big one for me: I’m off on a five-day tour of schools that’ll end with me visiting two festivals (Bath and Cheltenham) in two days. I have a few more tickets to my Cheltenham event left – snap them up quick!

This week I’ve been mostly preparing for my big trip, but I have had a bit of time to film my latest video. It’s full of book recommendations for you, featuring some of my favourite authors – and it also has a sneaky preview of Book 6! It’s now at proofreading stage, and it’s looking more and more like a book. Watch the video to see me explaining exactly how the final few stages of the book-making process work, and also giving you a bit of an update on the cover and title reveal (soon, I promise!).

Almost the Whole Truth is available for pre-order now!

My adult debut, Almost the Whole Truth, is publishing in June 2027 from Viking in the UK and Crown in the US. I really, truly love it, and I really hope that you’re going to fall in love with it the way you have with my younger fiction. Daisy and Hazel will be part of a new Story Museum exhibition!

There’s a new exhibition coming to Oxford’s Story Museum this summer, and it’s all about young detectives! Created by young curators using a storyline by Sharna Jackson, it’ll feature plenty of your favourite detectives – including Daisy and Hazel!
