On Sunday I visited Waterstones Birmingham to meet you and sign copies of my books. I was delighted to see how many of you turned up!

Thank you to Waterstones for hosting (and especially Jamie, who set up the event!), and thank you to everyone who came along. It never stops being utterly wonderful to meet you and see what my books mean to you. It’s such an honour for me to know that you love Hazel and Daisy and Ted as much as I do – so much so that you and your parents will travel from all over the country to see me!

Below are some of the pictures from the event. I absolutely loved chatting to all of you and I can’t wait to do more of it this autumn. I’m going to be at Cheltenham, Bath and Ilkley Festivals this October, so you’ll have plenty of chances to catch me! And by the way, all of these events (and all of the events I ever do!) have no upper age limit. You are never too old to be part of the Detective Society, and I hope you’ll enjoy hearing me talk whether you’re seven or eighty!
