DEATH SETS SAIL
… and its glorious cover is below!
This cover, as always, is illustrated by Nina Tara, who has created the iconic art for all of Daisy and Hazel’s adventures. It’s been a privilege to work with her over the last six years – the books wouldn’t be the same without her! It’s been designed by Jan Bielecki, my designer at Puffin – a lot of work by a lot of different people goes into the creation of each of my covers!
I absolutely love the cover – you can see the SS Hatshepsut, the ship that plays such a big part in the plot, and Daisy and Hazel both look wonderful. Daisy’s standing up, shading her eyes against the sunset, and Hazel looks like she’s doing some very sneaky exploration!
The cover is gold foil, with blue foil details, and it’s going to have blue sprayed edges (think the pages of Top Marks for Murder, only blue instead of pink). It’s going to stand out head and shoulders above everything else – it looks properly royal, which is fitting for the last novel in the Murder Most Unladylike series!
