Longfield school visit – and book trailer!

Last year, two Detective Society Members called Aimee and Emily wrote to me asking me to visit their school, Longfield – and this week I was able to make their request come true!

I had a wonderful time meeting Aimee and Emily and their friends, and talking to Year 7 and 8 about mystery writing and my books. I even gave them an exclusive reading from A Spoonful of Murder – the first time I’ve spoken about it in as school!

I also had a special surprise from the Book Worms, Longfield’s book club – they’d made a book trailer for Murder Most Unladylike! It’s absolutely brilliant, and I am so impressed with it.

Here I am with the Book Club members, and the fantastic booksellers from Waterstones Darlington who supplied the event. I had a wonderful day, and am so happy to know there are lots of brilliant Detective Society members in Longfield School. Huge thanks to Aimee and Emily, and their librarian Mrs Martin, for making this visit happen!
