It’s one of my favourite days of the year: World Book Day! A whole day dedicated to books … what could be better?
I hope you’re really enjoying your celebrations. I’m out visiting a school today – and I’m loving the photos of your amazing costumes that you’re sending in! Please keep them coming – I’ll be sharing some of them on this site next week.
Today is also a very special day for me and my books. It’s the publication day for the new edition of The Case of the Missing Treasure! This is a short story that was first published last year exclusively for Waterstones. But we know that not all of you have access to a Waterstones near where you live – so this edition is available in ALL bookstores in the UK and Ireland!
If you already have your Waterstones edition, then this story won’t be new to you – but if you don’t, this is your chance to read a special Murder Most Unladylike adventure! It’s now available from Amazon, Blackwell’s, Foyles and your local independent bookshop. It’s also available as an ebook for people who like reading that way. There aren’t any plans for a US release of this book – but I know that sites like Book Depository ship worldwide for free, so that’s your best bet if you’re an American or Canadian fan!
So, happy World Book Day, and happy release day to The Case of the Missing Treasure. There’s a lot to celebrate!
