Happy US Book Birthday, Jolly Foul Play!

April 17, 2018

I’m delighted to be able to say that the fourth book in the Wells & Wong Mysteries series, Jolly Foul Play, is now available to buy in the USA and Canada!

My US publishers are Simon and Schuster, and the book is illustrated by the wonderful Elizabeth Baddeley. The story has been lightly Americanized to fit with the other books in the US series, but it is the same story as the UK edition – and a very exciting story too!

From the official description …

Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong have returned to Deepdean School for Girls for a new school term, but nothing is the same. There’s a new Head Girl, Elizabeth Hurst, and a team of Prefects—and these bullying Big Girls are certainly not good eggs.

Then, after the fireworks display on Bonfire Night, Elizabeth is found—murdered.

Many girls at Deepdean had reason to hate Elizabeth, but who could have committed such foul play? Is the murder linked to the secrets and scandals, scribbled on scraps of paper that are suddenly appearing all over the school? And with their own friendship falling to pieces, will Daisy and Hazel be able to solve this mystery before suspicions tear the student body apart?

You can buy Jolly Foul Play from Amazon.com, Barnes and Noble – and of course (I recommend this way if you can) your friendly local indie bookstore!

To celebrate Jolly Foul Play‘s US release, I have THREE copies of the book to give away to readers in the USA or Canada. Just comment on this post with why you’d like to win before the 22nd April, and I’ll choose three lucky winners on the 23rd!
