This weekend was wonderful and very busy for me – I went to two festivals and spoke at two fantastic events!
On Saturday I went to the Cambridge Festival. I used to live in Cambridge, and I set my book Mistletoe and Murder there, so the Cambridge Festival is always very special for me. I had a wonderful and fully-booked session, and then I went to Heffers to sign copies of my books. Many thanks to Mo and the Festival staff, and to Heffers for such a great signing – the queue literally went out of the shop’s door and into the street!
If you didn’t manage to get tickets (and I know that not all of you could), don’t worry at all. I promise that I will be back in Cambridge in October to do another signing – look out on my website calendar for details later this year!
On Sunday I had a very different event – I was lucky enough to speak to a brilliant group of librarians and children’s book fans at the FCBG Conference at Queenswood School with my friend and fellow mystery author Katherine Woodfine. We were introduced by bloggers Mango Boy and Banana Girl from the website Mango Bubbles Books – if you love reviewing and writing, you might like to join the site!
Huge thanks to everyone who came along on both days – I loved speaking to you all! Some of my favourite pictures are below …
