Oxford Central Library – and the holidays!

Oxford library event Dec 2017

On the 18th of December I was lucky enough to be able to visit the new Oxford Central Library to speak about my books. It was a very special event for me, and not just because I was the very first author to talk in the amazing new library space.

I grew up in Oxford, and my mother used to take me to Oxford Central Library every week. It was where I discovered so many of the authors who inspire me, and some of my happiest memories are from my library visits. It’s incredible to think that my own books are now stocked in the library I loved as a child, and so this event was an amazing way to end my year. I want to say a huge thank you to Jo Morris and the rest of the Oxford Central librarians for a wonderful event – I’m very excited to work with them again in 2018!

My Oxford event was my last of 2017, which means that I’m now on my Christmas holidays. I’ll be back in January, ready to work on Book 7 and launch A Spoonful of Murder on February 8th, but until then I’ll be taking a break! Enjoy your own holidays, Detectives, and Merry Murder!
