A few of you have written to me to ask if the movie of First Class Murder has been released. You’re not quite right – we’re still looking for the right company to make my books into films – but you’re not too far off.

Murder on the Orient Express is the Agatha Christie book that I was thinking of when I wrote First Class Murder, and although the endings are completely different (I promise!) there are a lot of things about the two books that are similar. They’re both set on the Orient Express train, they both star a cast of mysterious and dangerous characters and a passenger is murdered in a very horrid and puzzling way …

So I’m very excited to see the new Orient Express movie, and I hope you are too! Let me know what you think of it – and I definitely recommend comparing Agatha Christie’s book to my own, if you haven’t already.
