Last week I had an exciting opportunity to travel further afield to meet Murder Most Unladylike fans – I was asked to be part of Listowel Writers’ Week 2018!
Listowel Writers’ Week is a fantastic Irish literary festival with a lot of history behind it, and it takes place in beautiful Listowel in Country Kerry.

I did three events on Thursday and Friday – one speaking about my books, one on a panel with fellow mystery writers Alex Barclay and Helena Duggan, and one on a panel for adults about how to write children’s books!
I had a wonderful time at all three, and was delighted to meet so many Irish mystery fans. One school came all the way from Tuam to meet me, which is a pretty amazing journey!

Then, on Saturday, I visited Cork for a murder mystery event at Cork Waterstones.
There was an amazing turn-out, and some fans came from as far away as Dublin! I was so pleased to speak to so many people, and I’m really grateful to Waterstones for organising it, and to everyone who came along.
I had a wonderful visit to Ireland – and I’m hoping that I’ll be back again soon!
