When I was trying to get published, I used the Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook to find out about agents. It’s a really great resource – it’s full of articles about writing and publishing, and it has a list of the best agents, and exactly the kind of books and authors they represent.

So it feels particularly amazing and wonderful that the Children’s Writers’ and Artists’ Yearbook 2019 will feature an article by me, about my own journey to publication, and why it’s important to write what you love, not what you think everyone else will.

The new yearbook will publish on the 26th July, but you can already pre-order it from the Bloomsbury website. It’s got amazing articles from some of my favourite children’s and YA authors – if you’re thinking about getting published, you should definitely check it out!
