Death in the Spotlight reviewed by TES

04/12/2018

I’m delighted that Death in the Spotlight has been reviewed by TES in their Class Book Review section.

Natalia Marshall, LRC Manager at The Compton School, calls it ‘the best MMU novel yet’.

Gia, a Year 8 pupil at Compton School, says ‘I love this book because the two main characters, Hazel and Daisy, are brave and funny and they take you along on their adventures – you never know what is going to happen next,’ and Emma, Year 8, says ‘I like Death in the Spotlight because it has a lot of plot twists which keep you wanting to read more, which is what I look for in a book.’

Caitlin, Year 8, mentions my YouTube channel! She says ‘The author, Robin Stevens, has a great YouTube channel in which she talks about her new book releases and if you’re lucky she might read an exclusive extract’, and Bibi, Year 10, says ‘I would highly recommend it to kids of all ages. It’s amazing and surprising, the best of the Murder Most Unladylike series yet.

Thanks so much to Natalia, Gia, Bibi, Emma and Caitlin, and you can read all of their reviews on the TES website now!
