Cream Buns and Crime on tour in Ireland!

Cork signing

Cream Buns and Crime is now officially OUT in the UK and Ireland! That should mean that if you go into any bookshop you’ll be able to see its super purple cover on a shelf (and trust me, you won’t be able to miss this cover).

Last week I was in Ireland, talking about the book and my series in Cork and Dublin. I’ve had some amazing events and signings – I did a great library visit and went on the Today Show with Maura and Daithí on Monday, on Wednesday I did two awesome Mountains to Sea panels with some of my favourite author friends AND met fans including ace Detective Society the EEESs, on Thursday I did a brilliant talk with loads of great Dublin schools, and on Saturday and Sunday I signed books in Easons – and got to meet some of my favourite Irish fans including Eve, who came all the way down from Northern Ireland to say hi! I also finally met Kate, the reviewer from the Late Late Toy Show.

I’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who made the visit possible – the Mountains to Sea team, the Gutter Bookshop, Easons, Dubray, Waterstones, the Puffin Ireland team, RTE and Cork City Libraries. And, of course, thank you to YOU if you came along to any of the events! Below are some of my favourite pictures from the week …

At Cork City Library!
Signing books in Cork Waterstones
On the Today Show, about to be interviewed!
Authors being silly on stage … Halfway through our Mountains to Sea event, Katherine Woodfine, Sarah Webb and I decided to see how many pens we could fit into Dave Rudden’s beard …
The EEESs and friends!
Tea with Kate from the Late Late Toy Show!
A HUGE pile of Cream Buns and Crime in Easons O’Connell Street, all ready to be signed!

If you’d like to watch me chat about REAL LIFE murder mysteries on RTE’s Today Show, just click here if you’re in the UK – if you’re in the US, or in Ireland, click here and then search ‘Today with Maura and Daithí‘.

And if you’re hoping for some UK Cream Buns and Crime events, don’t worry – I’ll be arranging some later this spring, once I’ve finished my first draft of Book 6!
