Book recommendations – September 2019

28/09/2019

My September book recommendations are here!

They are …

The Girl who Speaks Bear by Sophie Anderson (8+)
Max Kowalski Didn’t Mean It by Susie Day (8+)
Bearmouth by Liz Hyder (12+)
Chinglish by Sue Cheung (16+ for racism – please note that the age rage suggestion on the video is incorrect. Even though this is an illustrated book, it isn’t suitable for younger children.)

If you want to see where I’ll be in October (my tour stops are Cheltenham, Bath, London, Belfast and Dublin) check out my calendar.

And if you want to know what I’ve been writing … you’ll have to wait until October!

    Hello Robin,
Great recommendations video! I really enjoyed watching it. I also enjoyed when I came to your talk at the Bath Children’s Literature Festival and when I met you too! Thank you so much.

Instagram post 2193479673290392087_29570379 Up early to visit @roundtablebooks and be their bookseller for the day! I’m very excited and not awake yet. 📸 by @_davidmstevens, who does this commute every day and thinks I’m a weakling. Come by and say hi if you’re in Brixton from 10-6 today! 📚🎄
