Competition: Death in the Spotlight is almost here!

Detectives, it’s a very exciting day: my author copies of Death in the Spotlight have arrived!

I always get a box full of my new book, a few weeks before it’s published, so I can give it away to friends and family, and to the people who gave me advice while I was writing it. And there are always just a few spare … that I can give away to you!

Death in the Spotlight isn’t published in the UK and Ireland until 4th October (for Australia and New Zealand it’s the 15th October), but I’m going to give one copy to one lucky fan, so you can read it before anyone else!

Just comment below by 23:59 BST on Sunday 23rd September, telling me what you hope will happen in Death in the Spotlight, and I’ll choose one lucky winner on Monday morning. Please don’t comment with any personal details like your address – I’ll only ask the winner to give me their address privately, and I won’t use it for anything else. This competition is only open to readers in the UK, Ireland, or any other country where the Puffin edition is published (this is so my publishers in other countries and languages don’t get upset), and if you are Hazel and Daisy’s age, let an adult know you’re entering.

Good luck, Detectives …
